On the occasion of the company's 120th anniversary, the employees of Cutting Systems demonstrated their helpfulness. Life-size bravo star cuts lining the event's red carpet were auctioned off for a good cause. Oliver Friz, CEO of MCS, doubled the proceeds of the auction, so that 1,500 euros could finally be handed over to the Lutz Frischmann Foundation.
In 2005, Lutz Frischmann became aware of the children and youth hospice project and directly and actively supported the collection of donations. In 2009, he and his wife founded the Morgenstern Foundation. More than two thirds of the donations go to children's hospice work, one third to other projects for children suffering from cancer or abuse. The foundation is now one of the largest private initiatives in Germany.
